The iPhone is full of surprises. There are more settings in the iOS operating system than you can shake a stick at. Every once in a while I find a "new" setting buried deep in the iOS settings menu that makes me very happy. This is one of those rare occasions. Enter keyboard shortcuts!

If you’re like me you’ve got a few websites that you go to a lot with your iPhone when you’re on the go. You’ve probably even saved a few web pages to your home screen for quick access. It’s a great feature to be able to do that.  And if the website has a mobile version, it's almost like having its own dedicated app.  The problem is that some web sites have their own home screen bookmark icons that look great, but there are plenty more that don’t. In that case, the iOS does an interesting thing. It takes a thumbnail screen shot of the web page and uses that as the bookmark icon picture. The iPhone is a wonderful device. For starters, it is an extremely capable phone, web browser, and camera. It does have it's limitations however. Okay, at this point "Angry Birds" should not be new to anyone. It is available on numerous platforms including PS3, Google Chrome, Intel AppUp, Facebook and of course the Apple Appstore, by which it can be played on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

All iPhones and iPod Touches come with a few preinstalled apps right off the shelf.  One of these apps in particular is very useful for some and not at all for others.  I'm talking about the Stocks app.
