WizMouse is a compact little piece of freeware from Antibody Software that runs in the background of your computer and allows you to scroll through the window that your mouse cursor is hovering above. Without WizMouse you would have to click on any window to make it the active window before you can use your mouse wheel to scroll through it. It may not seem like a tool that you immediately see the value in and you might be thinking that you don't need it, but I'm here to tell you otherwise.

If you’re like me you’ve got a few websites that you go to a lot with your iPhone when you’re on the go. You’ve probably even saved a few web pages to your home screen for quick access. It’s a great feature to be able to do that. And if the website has a mobile version, it's almost like having its own dedicated app. The problem is that some web sites have their own home screen bookmark icons that look great, but there are plenty more that don’t. In that case, the iOS does an interesting thing. It takes a thumbnail screen shot of the web page and uses that as the bookmark icon picture. Pretty clever Apple, but when you have a bunch of bookmarks on your home screen the tiny little thumbnail screen shots tend to look alike. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to customize the icons yourself?
Well, now you can...
There is no fruit more complex looking than the pineapple. Where do you begin when trying to carve one of these things? You know there's delicious nectar within but it's guarded by a layer of armor complete with a Roman type plume on the top. Fear not good people, Sue and Steve are here to save the day. They evidently have a home-made cooking show and they tackled the daunting pineapple. Sue demonstrates the best way that I've seen yet to properly cut a pineapple.
The White Russian, quite possibly mankind's best discovery. It's simple yet elegant. And what better spokesman to have for a drink than The Big Lebowksi, better known as the Dude, his Dudeness or El Duderino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing. The White Russian, aka the Caucasian (in the parlance of our times), is simple to make, all you need are equal parts Vodka, Kahlua and cream. However, it's common to substitute milk or half and half in for the cream. My favourite variation is to sub in Bailey's Irish Cream instead of dairy cream. It packs a punch this way but it hurts so good and goes down incredibly smooth.
With the recent news that Apple, the makers of the wildly successful iPhone, iPod and iPad platforms, has more spending money than the entire United States of America it makes sense now why it seems like everyone in the world seems to own an iPhone or iPad these days. According to CNN Steve Jobs and Apple have a ridiculous $76.2 Billion in cash and marketable securities as compared to the US Treasury with only $73.8 Billion in operating cash. How is that possible? How could a tech company that was struggling as recently as the 90s now be wealthier than the most powerful nation on the planet? Well, since I'm no financial journalist or economic expert, I'm going to choose to focus on something a little closer to my area of expertise. Let's take a look at the TOP 10 iPhone Apps that we here at Gounce.com think that you shouldn't be without.
Project Free TV is a website dedicated to bringing every episode of every show to the internet for free. And they aren't stopping there either, you can stream nearly any movie you're looking for as well. Project Free TV is setup to allow either video streaming or direct download of the videos. Best of all most of the links work with the notoriously touchy Playstation 3 web browser. So, if you're looking for an easy way to watch any TV show out there and you own either a PS3 or XBOX 360 check out Project Free TV.
The latest in the long line of comic book superhero movies to come out lately is Marvel Comics’ Thor, based on Norse mythology, and was created by Stan Lee in the ‘60s. Thor was also a part of the superhero team The Avengers. You may or may not have noticed that Marvel Studios is building up to an Avengers movie in 2012.
All iPhones and iPod Touches come with a few preinstalled apps right off the shelf. One of these apps in particular is very useful for some and not at all for others. I'm talking about the Stocks app.
This app is useful for the obvious reasons of being able to log and track on a minute to minute basis any stocks you may have invested in (although the app runs updates 20 minutes behind the actual market). But, for those of us who do not invest in the stock market there is another use for this app. Want to know the exact exchange rates for the US dollar converted to say, the Canadian dollar or maybe the Euro or even the British Pound?
By now you may have seen the new Heineken commercial airing titled "The Entrance." It's a good commercial beginning with an apparent magician (life of the party type) guy who entertains the individuals he encounters upon his entrance to what appears to be a "box social" of some kind. In the main ballroom is a band playing live on the staircase. It's a great song and hopefully you're reading this article because you're wondering who the band is and what song they're playing.
