Q*bert: The Foul-Mouthed Arcade Legend is Back!

fpIf you were a fan of Q*bert on the NES you need this app now! It has many modes including a bluetooth 2 player mode. Great deal for the low price of $1.99 : )

My biggest gripe with the original game was control. For some reason that I cannot exactly put into words, a D-pad is not well suited to Q*bert.

Enter the iPhone! utilizing directional finger swipes, you can control Q'bert with ease. Hold down your finger after swiping, and Q*bert keep hopping along. There is almost no learning curve here.

There is also a tilt control mode that take advantage of the iPhone's G-sensor.

This game is a classic with a revamped control setup.

Modes:

Arcade: This is where it all started. Q*bert can be found in all his pixely greatness here.

Modern: A super clean version of the original game.

Space: Changes the game completely, no longer just the standard Q*bert pyramid.

2 Player Bluetooth: An incredible two player mode that can be played over bluetooth with your friends.

Other Modes: Pirate, Jungle, Ice, and Castle.

All in all this game will provide hours of entertainment. Give it a try today!
