Memento Featured

mementoMemento (2000) revolves around a man that suffers from short-term memory loss that uses tattoos and notes to hunt down the man that he believes killed his wife and gave him his acquired brain injury.

To put it simply, this movie is unbelievable. There really isn’t too much more to be said. Memento is the seed that really got director Christopher Nolan going. Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Inception? All great movies, but none of them would exist if it wasn’t for the unbelievable story Memento tells. The acting is flawless. Guy Pierce really brings his best to the table here, which is what landed him the roll in the Count of Monte Cristo two years later. The story will have you thinking for days. It’s also told in one of the most unique ways in cinematic history. Like all Nolan movies, not too much can be said without giving something away. I’ll leave it at this: if you own a TV, you have to see this film.
